Experiments during Art

Today, Monster and I were making window clings (post later). It was during preparation we discover a fun science experiment! Everyone has seen the milk experiment with the food coloring and dish soap! We did it not too long ago even.

Today we were using white glue, food coloring and dish soap! So, of course we wanted to see what would happen or if anything would happen if the food coloring was in the glue instead of milk!

This is what happen:

Very neat and different results (from the milk one!)

Want to try? Here is what you do:

  • Pour 2 tablespoons of white elmers glue in a bowl.
  • Drop two drops of food coloring in the bowl onto the glue
  • Drop one to two drops of dish soap on top of food coloring ( I used blue dawn dish soap)
  • Watch in amazement!!!
